This 15-minute indoor walking workout will help improve your cardiovascular health by getting your heart rate up and increasing strength with exercises that work your legs, glutes, core and upper body. This workout is about 1800 steps. Perfect for seniors and beginner exercisers.

Marching or walking in place is the foundation for the workout. The 30-second rounds will also work on your balance and coordination, which is important to prevent falls, the leading cause of non-fatal and fatal injuries among seniors.

This workout includes a warm up and cooldown. If you would like an additional warm up, try one of our warm up videos:

My doctor said I had to walk 30 minutes daily. I tried walking outside but was exhausted after 10 minutes (I am very, very out of shape). I found these videos and started doing the 5 minute walking workout. I am now on week 3 and doing the 15 minute workout and it's not too bad. Thank you, April and Mom, for making this a lot easier for me.

I'm actually in my 30's but I have a lot of various chronic illnesses. I do your workouts on days when the exhaustion is really bad and it's the right amount of moving without pushing myself too hard.

I love you two ladies, are awesome. I started watching you instead of giving something up for lent. I decided to add 30 minutes a day of exercise. I am 73 years old. I get around good but get very little exercise. Your videos are awesome but when I watch you on my TV. I can’t like or comment for some reason so I go to my iPad and like and subscribe.

Hello just wanted to thank you both. I am 54 years old under 5 feet and need both my knees replacement. I have a desk job and my knees get very stiff. Dr says I need to keep moving.I am beyond words to describe how grateful I am to have found your channel. I have tried other senior workouts and I couldn’t do them. So happy I came across your video. I love that the music you choose is so calming to me and not overbearing. I have tried several of your workouts and enjoy them all, this 15 minute workout is great had me working up a sweat, 😅 love it.Thank you again for putting these great videos on YouTube.

I'm 87 and enjoy this 15 minute workout very much. I live in a small country town in Adelaide South Australia and most days am able to exercise outdoors under our verandah where I can breath in the clear early morning air and listen to the magpies warbling to me while I do my workout!

Day 8 of 30-day intermediate workout. An easy 15 minutes today; I was able to speed it up. I'm 80 so I'm planning to do 80 days and then might as well do more. P.S.: Aiko cracks me up with her wisecracks.
