I think this only applies to the US. Here in the UK yogurt can only have the "Greek yogurt" label if it actually comes from Greece. If it doesn't come from Greece it can be labelled "Greek Style" yogurt.

Make your own, it's super easy. I drain the whey out for at least 3-4 hours, most of the sugar is in the whey. Add frozen berries or even a few cherries... it doesn't take much to flavor it. A few walnuts for crunch & you have a filling meal.

It doesn't have to come from Greece, it is higher in protein and lower in sugar than regular yoghurt.
