We talked about if the M2 Pro was clocked higher than the M2 or if it was only the M2 Max and up that clocked a little higher for singlecore. Back when they reviewed the M2 Pro/Max, I'd directly asked Geekerwan about this in the comment section, and they replied "the M2 Pro is clocked higher too but Geekbench doesn't reflect that for some reason". Take that as you will, I guess.

I kinda remember discussions about M2 Pro being clocked higher as well. But yeah, I wouldn’t bet on it. Looked it up again and Other sources seem to confirm what Geekbench is saying. Also that 5% clock speed difference makes basically no difference as multi threaded clock speed behavior is largely the same.

The M3 and M3 Max are definitely the most interesting processors. M1 Pro seems meh
