Brilliant AF! I hope someone nominates the CCF for a Nobel one day! Also....would love a whole video on compulsive overeating and CPTSD.

1. Get up an hour earlier.
2. Write out fears and resentments. (Personal inventory)
3. Meditate - up to 20 minutes daily- focus on or say a mantra or a word like “release”
4. Go OUTSIDE and Exercise Hard- get heart rate up for at least 20 minutes…
5. A class like kickboxing or Zumba
6. Have some coffee; but not too much- stop at 3:00 pm
7. Eat some protein with every meal
8. Make a list of what you want to do daily. And zero in on the three main ones- and do the hardest.
9. Fight the urge to talk about anything negative
10. Do something nice for someone- especially when they can’t find out you did it.
Become an agent of good.

I have lots of little tricks I use to have a Great day. One of them is when someone says "How are you" most people answer "OK" but I say "I'm Excellent Verging on Awesome" and it usually gets some sort of positive comment from the other person. and depending on the other persons comment I might say "I lied I'm not I'm not really that good" and the other person get's a disappointed look on their face, then I say "I'm better than that" and it always get's a laugh, and off I go feeling better, because it was fun saying it and because I know I have brought a smile to someone else and helped them have a good day.

And another fun thing I do is when I stop at the toll booth, I pay my toll and the toll for the car behind me, even though the people in the car behind me are total strangers. The reaction I get from the people in the other car some times is amazing, after they have gone through the toll booth and find out that a total stranger has paid their toll, they speed up to catch me blew their horn, wave etc. Again I feel good because it was fun to do it and because I know I have contributed to someone else having a good day. .

As someone who was a cart attendant for Target, it made such a big difference when someone made the effort and brought back an extra cart with them.

Something that helps me is vitamin D. This increases mental acuity and has an uplifting affect on the mood.

I have definitely noticed a huge difference in the way I feel eating less starchy carbs and more protein. And of course eliminating the junk food, something I have had a real struggle with.

Also, I gave up coffee. It was doing more harm than good. I agree with you on it lifting mood. If I drink it once in a while when needed like that, it works great. But for me I'm way too sensitive to it and if I drink it every day it makes me agitated and cranky.

The last one - being stealthily kind - is one of my absolute favorite things to do!!

I have been doing the personal inventory and meditation every morning since I found your channel a few days ago.
I am also trying to go to bed much earlier so I can get up much earlier. This also helps to ensure I get REM sleep which is important to me since I have always had a very severe sleep disorder.
Thank you for all you do. I appreciate you so much.
Happy New Year 🎉🎉🎉

Also remember to be kind to yourself and do a little something to reward yourself!

Love you and your work. You missed one though. Wake up and get hydrated, drink two glasses of water and consume deep nutrition. A green shake is often ideal. Coffee can be the worst thing for many and good for some. Some can do well with caffeine for a time and then get depleted over time. Talking about fueling up for healthy mood and hormone is something you should discuss without saying how people should do it. Overeating can happen if drinking coffee to get up and go, then exercising then one is ravenously hungry so I'd mention that starting that day with good food and nutrition before you do anything else is an essential for those who need to learn to take great care of themselves. Again, you rock. you are a voice soothing many and I commend you for the great work you are doing!!!

Thank you for your great advice! Anna. When I started eating organic whole foods, Ayurvedic tea with ginger and turmeric and less snacking with outdoor exercise I felt like I could enjoy living for once. I’m Quitting my therapist for a while ..years of weekly rehashing of early trauma making me depressed and negative. Thank you

I didn't have too crappy of a childhood, but I can so relate to everything you're saying in your videos! I still don't know why I am the way I am, but maybe watching your videos will give me some insight as to why I struggle with anxiety, depression, awkwardness and relationships.

This could be my favorite video so far... for the sole reason that I have already been doing a lot of this for a few months, if not a few years, and I'm so happy to hear I am already doing things that are helping me! Woo hoo! Recently started taking dance classes in the "lockdown", which I love as a former dancer, and so WOOP - ticked another box! :-) Thanks Anna.

Meditation is like crochet...it takes ages to learn but once you have it...you have it...took me ages...Michael Sealey has the best resonance for me...try also Nothing Much Happens...so good...also take a glass of water to bed so it's there for the morning...a mantra: "First This" taken from Nothing Much Happens...I've started going out walking...always thought I had to have someone with me...you know to ooo and aaa and decide which way to go...how exhilarating and empowering to go where you want...I love places that look secret...maybe a fairy or two to be seen...I'm still learning...

I’ve read Pete walker book . It’s hard for me as I got hit by a truck as well as so much abuse so I can’t go hard on my body as of chronic pain and every time I do try I get hurt so I seem to always be recovering from one injury or another or abuse . I’d love to train hard but my body is damaged but I do my best . I want to be able to train more but it’s a vicious cycle of physical trauma emotional trauma past and present . It’s like anytime I get small progress energy makes me fall or hurt myself so I go into spasm . I’m finding now I’m getting to a senior it’s becoming too much as I do it on my own all the time . My spirit is tired
