The smirk when walking in and chatting it up with all the good ol boys got under my skin. He has zero remorse for anything he has done.

22years is an absolute insult to every person he cheated. Every single one.

Disgusting. Truly truly disgusting. I can see the prosecution is tired of this case, the city/county tired of spending money. But if any of us did these things, in its entirety, we’d be behind bars for 100+ years.

It's sickening and disgusting to watch Alex sit there with a smile on his face and Jim and Poot are no better

I have NEVER seen one iota of remorse on this man's face.

I will never understand the law, we are all shocked he didn’t get life for these financial crimes yet a man (Tim Ferrier)that kept his own son in a box for 3 years only yesterday received just 5 years and that sentence the judge felt warranted a downward departure? Please make it make sense!

Not enough the privilege he had all his life and he chose to steal from those who needed it most and who trusted him and his spin. Disgusting!🤬😡🤬

22.5 years is a slap on the hand for all he did!

Your words about MORALES, FRIENDSHIP AND HONESTY brought a tear to my eyes. Presidents, lawyers and friends are the people we trust the most. Does that not mean anything anymore? I ask you all. From Canada 🇨🇦 and Germany 🇩🇪

22.9 years for all the lives he destroyed. That in a word is “bullshit”.

Not enough. What Mr. Pinkney suffered was horrendous, not to mention the Satterfield family and all the others.
Alex looks like prison agrees with him

Given the postion of trust that he repeatedly, consistently & purposely flouted, trampled and laughed in the face of - this is absolutely disgusting! The damage that he's done for the Attorney/client relationship & erosion of trust cannot be stated strongly enough.
For these (&many more) reasons, This man should've answered /got "just deserves" for his crimes. He should've been given the sentence to match his deliberate crimes.
The moral sentence would be to make an example of him (which in this case would be the actual amounts he deserves!)
To ensure that trust is repaired.
Edited for a typo 🤦🏽‍♀️

The folks that he bankrupted will have their credit ruined for 20 years. His sentence of 22.9 years is not adequate, IMO.

Shocking at best! This man deserved a much longer sentence!

Ridiculous, he deserved so much more. Good ole boys alive & well.... i hope judge changes his mind after impact statements. How horrible for these victims, total injustice.

@Lawyer You Know would you please go over the latest Delphi/Richard Allen trial?
Look at Alec’s face when the DA started thanking the victims, that is a TRUE “dupers delight” grin. He was “right proud” of himself for being so slick. Alec saying, “I don’t agree to some of the narrative”’He just has to get a word in, can’t help himself!🙄

This is the kind of “justice” you get these days in the U.K…..where we have very low tariffs and rarely impose sentences that are served consecutively.. concurrent being the norm. Here Alex has ruined so many lives, betrayed his family, betrayed his partners and friends. He betrayed his clients … so egregious… and people went to the wall. So, no, I don’t think it it’s enough. If the murder conviction stands, then ok, I get that. But, to my mind, it still sends out the wrong message.
