Granted, I'm old (75) and have been sitting for most of my life. But, I started lfting again about seven years ago. As I try to correct my form flaws, I've found that I just cannot squat down with a wide stance as shown in this video. I guess my inner thigh muscles have atrophied and shrunken. I've never been able to do a side split on the floor even when young. Or, have a decently high side kick. But, I'll keep working and nudging my hip joints and tight muscles to try and regain some of my lost flexibility.

5:47 Please pay close attention: The bar is moving down to what looks like a good lowbar position. But at the same time the wrists go into an extreme extension. It is briefly mentioned a moment later in the video, shown in the highbar position only, but still demonstrated "wrong" at 5:47 and at 6:00.
That will cause severe pain in the elbows for a lot of people, once enough weight is on the bar. I don't know of any disadvantages of giving up this position, so you could go safe and stop extending the wrists from the beginning and avoid pain, injury and set backs later.
