It's hard to go wrong with BACON! :) Yummm I am here cooking up some Applewood and Hickory smoked bacon to season a great big pot of Greasy Beans from the garden.

I would wrap the asparagus with bacon and add a small amount of bbq sauce or any sauce on top before adding the poached egg.

what i love is basic macaroni and cheese season it however you like and you bake it with the uncooked bacon on top the oils from the bacon adds flavor to the macaroni and cheese

Just made the bacon leek pasta bake. Sooo good- even little sis likes it!! I doubled the recipe and added a little heavy cream. Heaven in a dish! ♡

My favourite thing to put on top of pasta bakes before whacking it in the oven is bread crumbs. Let them crisp up and just... uh.. so good.
