I love the big smile every time she's hitting one of the positions.. you can tell they've been trained to do it with a smile.. can't show the pain! Hahaha.

stretches:

right straddle
left straddle
center straddle
butterfly (shove feet out increasingly a few times)
pointed pike
flexed pike
bent shoulder
straight shoulder
seal
straight leg bridge
bent bridge
lunge
one leg stretch
standing stretch w nose to knee
split w back foot flexed
split w front leg bent
split w stretch forward
split w bow stretch
split w arched back
(repeat from lunge on other leg)
over straddle
oversplit - front
oversplit - side
oversplit - back
(repeat on other side)
over overstraddle
bend front leg, bring up back and arch back to meet foot (haha idk what to call this either)
front kicks 10x each leg
side kicks 10x each leg
back kicks 5x straight each leg
back kicks 5x bent each leg
bow stretch w doorframe
front stretch w doorframe
door scorpion stretch

actual body positions:
heel stretch
bow and arrow
scale
arabesque
(repeat in other side)

conditioning:
straddle circles 10x each leg
straddle circles 10x at same time
supermans 20x
front leg lifts at waist high surface 10x each leg
side leg lifts at waist high surface 10x each leg
back leg lifts at waist high surface 10x each leg

i was a gymnast and i only really had flexibility in my right leg but when i joined cheer i had to fly on my right leg so i had to gain all new flexibility on my left leg. thank you for this post

im not a cheerleader or a gymnast, im actually just doing a weightloss program. but i made a goal to be able to do the splits by the end of 2020 so this is on my workout playlist now. :) wish me luck lol. (not flexible at all....yet)

When she went into the all the way down I was like. " uhm.. I don't think I can do that, but ok." And I went down fully into the splits. I was so surprised after cracking my ACL 3 years ago that I was just in shock
