Increase Your Pull-Ups (The Ones That ACTUALLY Lead To GROWTH!!)

Показать описание
Pull-ups are a touchy subject for some people because they believe form is everything... I believe the same thing but the form I use is geared towards getting those lats to grow, not a perfect rep.

If you're looking to up the number you can do then I suggest you try this variation because not only will you end up being able to do more reps but you'll also walk away with bigger lats.

Let me know what video you want next and get after it!

Been watching for a while now. I started doing exercises that I connect with and I am starting to see gains and size. I am still working on getting rid of the spare tire around my waist. LOL. I have lost about 40 pounds this year so far at least at the last measure. My belt has tightened more then anything and I can fully bend again without feeling pressure in my mid section. Thank you for being too the point and not doing a hour of introduction showing nonsense and just bragging about what you can do.

I love how you combine delivering information as quickly and understandable as possible with your sense of humor. Perfect combination 🙏

Interesting. When the pandemic started and I had to workout from home, I started doing pull-ups on the main ibeam bar in my basement, grabbing each side of that bar with each hand. Once I was able to grip properly (probably the hardest part) I put these pull-ups in my regular routine. The movement ends up being quite close to what Ryan demonstrates here, and I must say I believe I’ve experienced more lat growth in the last few months than I ever have before

Best fitness channel out there, he covers so much useful information in such a less amount of time! No annoying intros or product placements either!

Ryan H. Is athletic/workout awesomeness!
Hardly any certified personal/fitness trainers, nor bodybuilders ever put any emphasis on "Pullups"!
I so respect how this dude shows and incorporates the importance of calinstethics!
Thank you so much for this educational upload!

So glad you made this video and I feel like these are the mechanics that have promoted greater tension on my lats. Its been better on my shoulders as well. Awesome Ryan!

I quit using the assisted pull up machine and started using resistance bands like you recommended. Today I did my workout without the bands and I managed a full working set of pull-ups for the first time ever. Fantastic advice in this video!

Just started watching your videos. 55 yrs old, 220, (yes fat) and back at it. Used to be able to do pull ups (12 years ago)
Squat rack, bench, dumbbells all downstairs. No excuses.
Couldn’t do a pull up to save my life. Grabbed some bands and here we are doing them. The process is into the 5th week and here we are, feeling better, sleeping better and feeling as if things are moving along. At 55 I’m under no illusion about muscle gain or massive increases. However I feel as if I can get stronger and less flabby. :-)
Cheers. And thanks

I been following you vids for a while now, and I appreciate the solid no BS information. How about a clip addressing the issues some of us seasoned people face, such as hip mobility/ range of motion issues and training with arthritis and other unpleasant conditions ?. Keep up the good work!
