If your back feels tight, compressed, or achy, try these 3 unique exercises!
.
Sometimes back tightness is felt as a result of tightness in other areas of the body like the hips, hamstrings, and calves. In this short, we show you 3 exercises that create more movement in those areas, to try to relieve some tension in your back.
.
Using the wall ladder is an bonus for all three exercises - gravity allows spinal decompression and trunk elongation, which is great for people who have scoliosis, Scheuermann's Kyphosis, or those who sit at a desk all day.
.
REMEMBER that back pain and discomfort may be caused by many, many different sources - please see a Physiotherapist in your area who can assess and treat your specific needs.
.
Head to @TSCConnect for full playlists of scoliosis-friendly workouts and more.
.
*These general exercises are NOT meant to replace treatment by a scoliosis-trained Physiotherapist. If you're looking to prevent the progression of your curve or address pain or other symptoms, please discuss any specifics of your condition with a medical professional who knows your situation.
