I recommend to touch the bar to the chin. It hits it better than putting it straight to your neck. I know its gonna look odd but it works. I use a very wide grip with a controllable weight (8-12 reps). It will get everything on your collar bone and the tie in to your delts. I got a home gym so no one can say sh*t.
