I have had most of my spine above lumbar fused from scoliosis. I am 21 years old and even before my surgery when I was 16, I was never able to touch my toes. I did these stretches for about 3 minutes and was able to touch the floor with the tips of my fingers. I'm genuinely shocked.

I had surgery for a herniation in March. It reherniated a few months later at the same spot but posterior. I am now dealing with similar sciatica. I would like to try this exercise at most stretches aggravate the nerve. Is is ok to try?

What does it mean if during these flossing excersizes there is never pain? Sometimes feels like when my foot comes up, something is physically pulling the nerve out of my pinky.

I seen various videos were they sit like you are but with the rest foot flat. Also, I've seen other vids of finding a sitting position were your feet are NOT TOUCHING THE FLOOR BOTH ARE ELEVATED. Very confusing by all of you who post videos. Very frustrating.
