I had mid back pain for YEARS. my physical therapist introduced me to this, and the pain went away within a few sessions. It was crazy.

I tried this exercise. I felt it was much better when I sat on a chair which had support for my back.

I've only done this for one day. I feel better already. I have excrutiating pain that seems that it starts in my darier and goes over to my hip and down to my knee. I have to stretch after standing up. Otherwise, I would fall over in pain. I can't take my first step without those stretches. I've been told it's Illiotibial Band Syndrome. But I think that Piriformis Syndrome might be part of the problem. If I sit for longer than 20 minutes driving in the car, then ache in my tooshie is almost an unbearable ache. Then it starts affecting my hip. I'll comment again to let you know if it's continuing to work.

I have a question: I have gluteal atrophy and doing all kinds of gluteal activation exercises doesn't help much if at all so I suspect the problem may be in the nerves. This floss is usually done for the sciatic nerve, will it floss my other gluteal nerves at the same time and hopefully reactivate whatever has shut down in there?

Can this be done on both sides? Pain and numbness has flipped for me over the decades since the original slipped disk occurrence, so wondering if doing both sides is helpful or only apply to the side currently experiencing the most discomfort.
