The removal of these 39 words which supposedly came from God, were removed under the authority of the false prophet Ellen White.

I learned about the Shut Door doctrine during my early research of Adventist history. Another good source is in the book Cultic Doctrine by Dale Ratzlaff. (Jim I’m sure you have this book already!) When I was in second grade in Adventist church school I remember doing a play on EGW’s first vision- the pathway- for a children’s program. It really upset me learning about all the poor people falling off the path and tumbling down the rocky cliffs! What an awful memory.🥺

Ah yes, the good old Shut Door.



Most SDAs around the world are completely unaware that Ellen ever taught this during 1844-51, and they're also unaware of the book "A Word to the Little Flock", that was published in 1847 (35 years before Early Writings), and heavily promoted the Shut Door doctrine.



When the Shut Door failed and Jesus didn't come back in 1851, all references to it were completely omitted when Early Writings was published years later in 1882. Yet, in the foreword of Early Writings, having the audacity to say "not a word omitted" was a blatant lie.

Shut door was best doctrine of adventism, according to it everyone from them is going right to hell right now.
I still as non-advnetist belive in their shut down doctrine for adventist church and hold strong to it, it is the best doctrine of advneitsm and no adventist can't change it. I will be always defend this doctrine for adventist till end of my life as valid one, after all, it is their own god and his prohet said so.

So here is when the Bible talks about the 144000

“Again I looked, and this is what I saw: a white cloud, and sitting on the cloud was One like the Son of Man, with a crown of gold on His head and a sharp sickle [of swift judgment] in His hand. [Dan 7:13, 14; Matt 13:30, 40-42] And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to Him who was sitting upon the cloud, “Put in Your sickle and reap [at once], for the hour to reap [in judgment] has arrived, because the earth’s harvest is fully ripened.” [Joel 3:13] So He who was sitting on the cloud cast His sickle over the earth, and the earth was reaped (judged). Then another angel came out of the temple (sanctuary) in heaven, and he also had a sharp sickle. And another angel came from the altar, the one who has power over fire; and he called with a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Put in your sharp sickle and reap the clusters of grapes from the vine of the earth, because her grapes are ripe [for judgment].” [Luke 9:54]”

So here is the temple … so there seem to be a temple before we all go to heaven then after the 7day journey and Jesus takes us home then in chapter 21 there isn’t a need of a temple anymore

The bible does say some will turn away from their faith and turn to false doctrine. In which case they will be lost. There's other similar verses too. Ellen was not fake! There will come a day that there will be no more forgiveness and the door Is shut, just like the days of Noah. It does talk about that.
