Defeating Adventism #24 – Ellen White’s False Vision of the 144,000 (Seventh-day Adventist)

This is the twenty-fourth video in the series of Defeating Adventism and is the first of two on this subject. Ellen White's vision of her and the 144,000, which she thought she was a member awaiting translated to heaven never happened. The problem further compounds when she died in 1915. The facts shown in this video proves Ellen White a false prophet.

Not only is the number limited to 144, 000, she also suggests that it should be 144, 000 greaseless vegans.

I read these things while growing up in that church and wondered the same things. Contradictions to the bible (no one knows the day or the hour) and wondered why no one else seemed to question her authority. How could she know if even the angels of heaven did not know. I thought there must be something wrong with ME because I could not see the same things about her that everyone else seemed to see and agree, that she was a prophet. I also felt that it was all based upon her word and wondered why everyone else just took her own word as the Gospel truth when it seemed so opposite from the word of God Thanks for your research, and I must say that is the best library on SDA books I have ever seen. It is so good to see it straight from the original or older books, word for word and compare it to the bible. Such a good presentation.

Here's how Adventists answer the objection regarding her being translated alive but she's today dead: There will be a "partial resurrection" prior to the first resurrection of which Ellen White will be a part and then she, along with those alive, will be translated. This was one of the lines of argument I used as a former Seventh-day Adventist apologist. This is just outright nonsense. To this day, I cannot find scriptural support for any "partial resurrection" prior to the Second Coming.

Thank you for all your videos. I did not realize just how bad the early writings were in contradiction to the Bible. I am leaving SDA being shown early writing. I think that some have been changed. But is this just a cover up or are they really wanting to come to truth?

Problem number 3, the gentleman on the video probably jumped Revelation 11:19. How then do we trust someone who clearly picks verses and leave others?

I'm on the spiritual side of faith being born again, I got Hung up on the 144, 000 for a second thinking thats not me... I'm not hebrew or Jewish 😢 but then elohim reminded of the invite to the banquet and that the father choose me because I always dreamed of talking to him. So yeah none of us unless you can prove you're ancestry or genealogy dates to one of the original tribes listed nobody Alive today is. They're probably in the 3rd heaven with Jesus right now. Its not anything special but basic common sense and logic debunks her unless she was just going into headcanon wich ks how we got mormons and jws... but the elohim showed Me every page that debunks false doctrine including this one, I remember getting upset when I couldn't honor the sabbath day but he said "pick any day of rest and I will not hold it against you." God isn't without reason and isn't a monster false teachings only reveal how selfish and arrogant they really are, still holding onto the pride of life and not fully repentant. But the test of a true deciple is always, are you going to speak the life changing saving gospel of christ and have confidence in his finished work? Or are you going to go off into wish fulfillment and write things that aren't biblical? Nobody has added to the scripture for a reason it's finished. Jesus said "it is finished" when he died on the cross, this is why I read the new testament at least 14 times now. You have to trust God's plan and not try to do anything extra or you'll be marked as a heretic.
