Small but mighty, chia seeds might not seem like much, but they are a fantastic addition to your plate.

These little seeds are native to Guatemala and Mexico and have been a staple for both the Mayans and Aztecs.

But did the Mayans know that these seeds contain essential fatty acids, fiber, and minerals crucial for our body's functioning? Well, the word “chia” means “strength” in ancient Mayan. So, they were definitely on to something.

The fact is chia seeds are super versatile, with tons of nutritional benefits, and in this video, we’re going to look just at that.

Yes. I have been eating a large tablespoon of chia seeds every morning for 10 years. The 54-year-old's hair has not changed color, body is flexible, skin is smooth, and sleeps well. I'm not vaccinated. Only had two colds.

Eating dark choco chia pudding while watching this 😋
- ~2 heaped tbsp chia, 1/2 cup soy milk, melted dark chocolate / cocoa powder, agave / maple syrup (I sweeten with homemade date paste).
- Let it sit, and stir to avoid clumping, and then toss in the fridge for 4 hours and it'll swell and turn into a pudding like consistency. It'll remain good in the fridge for 5-6 days, you can choose to make a bigger quantity and have some everyday.
- If there's extra milk after letting it sit, add more chia. If it's too dry, add more milk.
- Don't add too many additional things (like nuts, granola, etc)... besides maybe some cut up fruits, or blueberries. You don't want pudding to be chewy, but smooth.

My good friend is Mexican and when I was in Mexico City, her mother was visiting and she told me she has had a cup of hot water + chia seeds + lemon before going to bed for years bc her mother taught her they are incredibly effective against IBS and other digestive issues. I’ve had terrible digestive issues for a long time and have started doing this in the mornings. Such a difference!

At 57, I've been taking 3 tbsp per day for two years now. Sure helps with my gut and bowel movements. I take it in my protein shakes in the morning and before bed.

I eat 2 tbsp of chia seeds daily. I mix with 1/2 cup of almond milk and add 1 tsp of all natural vanilla. I let it set overnight to expand into a pudding texture. I sprinkle small amount dark chocolate chips on top before I eat as a dessert.
Deliciousness

I used to eat chia seeds (3 tbsp daily) and I had very little grey hair. Now I have a lot. I just remembered that copper prevents grey hair! Adding chia back into my diet tomorrow!

I added Chia seeds to the cookies that I make, that have less sugar I use almond flour, and so on and so forth, but I also added the cheesy, which has a wonderful little crunch as you are eating them

I love them in overnight oats! It’s crazy how much fuller you feel for longer and keeps you regular. My kids love that we always have them on hand for their chia pets 😂

I have been eating CHIA seeds for 10 days now. Absolutely 100% it cuts down snacking during the day. I take it at 9am everyday with Greek yogurt. My snacking has been drastically reduced. I rarely eat lunch because I'm full still at 1pm. I suggest starting with only 1 tablespoon per day for a week then 2 tablespoons per day after that. Some people can have cramps if you start out with 2 tablespoons.
