Where to START when reading the Bible...

In this new series, we explore how we as Christians can further our relationship with Jesus. In this episode, we explain the different sections of the Old Testament and New Testament, to further help you understand the context of what you are reading.

I’ve recently decided to fully dedicate my life to Christ, I’ve always been a Christian but I was lukewarm and your channel has been a great help during my spiritual journey. Anyone who's a new believer (or even interested in Christianity) I recommend always to start with the Gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). After that, go where your personal interests align.

Eventually it's best to read the whole thing, but when starting get your foundation of who Christ is, what He did for us, and why it's important, then it's okay to branch a bit further out

This is is great! For weeks I have been praying to God to show me how to study His bible, not just to read and this video came up. I really needed a deeper relationship with God, but was always so confused on where to start in His word. This video really helps! Thank you!

Dedication... Discipline... Hard work... Time... All things most Americans have NO idea (or care) how to do. How does one start learning (and then maintain) discipline and commitment when one was raised in a family where any time they took an initiative, it got squashed, over and over again until they became so disheartened and discouraged they lost hope and quit trying?

Oh, prayer, right? Just start asking, then keep asking, keep seeking, staying faithful to do so, even even you miss a few days sometimes... sigh.

I am trying to find my new journey with the Bible and I want to become very close with god🙏🏼. I need him the most right now. Times are tough for me at the moment, and This video helped me understand where to start my journey, I feel the "acts" and the gospels can be a good start. For a long time I didn’t believe in the Heavenly Father because of the struggles I was going through. Through Jesus I start believing again and for the first time I get to read the Bible unfiltered and translated exactly. So far I am still reading the law but I am excited to read the Gospel as well. I thank you Lord and Savior for bringing me back on the path that I belong like the Prodigal Son. I feel more at peace and fulfilled ever since I have returned on my journey in completing my process to Catholicism. To those who struggled like I did it is not too late to start anew.
