I am fascinated by how informative videos of such short length can be when dealing with anatomy! The animations/visualizations make the understanding of the human body very intuitive and easily accessible. Keep up the good work!

I had this spine and lower back pain for days but I started working out and standing up more often. The pain went a way after a week and I don’t feel pain anymore now.

Even as a healthy active kid, they still made us sit in school for hours…

Bought a large exercise ball to sit on about 13 years ago and never went back to chairs. Keeps you sitting upright, moving around, a thousand times better. And I can roll down and do a nice backbend on it every so often, lol, which feels great. Scares my coworkers but it feels great! 😂

This is a perfect video for most people who end up working on a computer for 10 or more hours like me. Great video. Can't wait to see recommendations to address and fix these issues. Thank you so much.

My top 3 exercises to strengthen postural muscles
1. Romanian Deadlift 3x8 (Strengthen Back and posterior Chain, cure anterior pelvic tilt)
2. Neck Curl 3x15 (Strengthen Neck Flexor to cure nerd neck)
3. Face Pull 3x15 (Strengthen Lower trap to cure slumped back, strengthen rotator cuff to prevent shoulder injuries)
Do them at least once a week with good form and relatively challenging weight, and you will have perfect posture for good.

2:00 I was experiencing pain in this region from prolonged sitting in an old 1950s era desk chair I was using at the start of the pandemic telecommuting from home. I realized the pain was from the sitting position in that chair which before the pandemic I would sit in for no more than an hour most, but when telecommuting I was in it for my 9 hr shift, not continually as I would get up to walk around but the damage was still being done cumulatively. I finally went out an bought a modern ergonomic desk chair, and within a month the pain went away, so choice of chair is also a huge factor in how to avoid issues listed here.

I am 75-years old - sitting all day at my office job has made me very ill in my old age.
My Dad, who was carpenter, is going to outlive me by 20-years!

So today I went to a orthopaedic and he stated the same to me. I got low back pain due to sitting day long for years while doing a desk job. So anyone watching this Your health is everything you got. So take a break in between and take care.

If you feel this pain, search “12 minute foundation training” right now. Do the entire video and it will change your life. I had this pain for years and started the routine in the video, it fixes it within a few days every time.

The overlap of the vertebrae transforms the spine into an active tower, whose stability must be achieved with dynamic anchors. A rigid seat does not give the legs the role of dynamic anchors and when you get tired, the back looks for support points and collapses in the backrest.
