These work folks. And you might also try strengthening the muscles around your butt also. Some of that pain also comes from lower back/sciatica problems for which there are a plethora of exercises you can do. I have 15 total I do in my 3 to 4 times a week sessions. And don't forget to reward yourself with a nice ice pack after each session. PT works. Thanks Physio channel.

Thanks for this. I've modified it a little for my circumstances. On my bed or the floor, I pile cushions or pillows on a box to about 1 or 2 feet high, then add pressure to lift my hips. I don't get anywhere near a bridge like your gymnast, but I feel the tension and compression in the muscles around my hips and glutes and belly. I can do it without any pain, so this is now part of my routine. I can also do this same motion while flat on the floor or on my bed. This video popped up at a really good time for me. And now that I've watched one, I will get others, as well. Thank you for the time you put into your YT videos.

I have severe pain in my butt bones when i walk also push down pain on both legs.

Hey what if you have to sit long hours due to health problems and have pain on one side of the buttocks. I think it is a nerve pinch in my lower spine but I don't have pain going down my leg it stops at my butt. I don't have pain when I am up walking around. But I have to sit because I have limited energy due to illnesses

Thanks and will have a go at this later. I do weights and bend a lot, could this be making it worse? I have stopped my Combat class as 'roundhouse kicks made this worse. (R sided glute pain). :-)

As well as moderate butt pain i have a sharp pain on the front midpart of my femur when i straighten up after e.g. cleaning my teeth. Is this all maybe related to the sciatic nerve nerve. Im a very fit 83 and hope none of this indicates a forthcoming hip replacement might be needed.

Are we to flex our glutes or leave them relaxed? I assume flexed. Should we also be doing this more than once a day/ morning and night?

Thanks for the video! I will try this. Can you please explain why strengthening the hamstring like you showed, will reduce the compression between the sitting bone and the tendon, as you mentioned happens when I sit or bend forward? Thank you 🙏 Also, will using a lying leg curl hamstring machine help as well?
