A gentle seated yoga class with stretches designed to be done with a meditative awareness (mindfulness). This practice is accessible, convenient and open to all levels, especially beginners.

The class begins with neck stretches, simple twists, side bends and seated cat/cows. We will ease into a gentle, yet deep shoulder/chest opener, and then a slow moving sequence to stretch the hamstrings, hips, low back and glutes. The class ends with a guided body scan meditation.

As someone new to yoga I love your classes. I have psoriatic arthritis and your seated classes are great for me. Your calm voice and great description of each move lets me practice with my eyes closed and I love that. Please continue making gentle classes for people like me that have arthritis or other physical issues. Nameste 🙏

I came here feeling disconnected with my body & myself. It was a hard week, a lot of news and work.
But over a year ago, I stared creating a space, making time for mental health each morning. That was the begging of my yoga journey.

I’ve practiced with Jessica’s videos for 8 months I believe. This channel is a treasure, I ensure you.

So, I came here today feeling stressed, but now I feel the beauty of being in peace. Instead of tense, there is just a warm feeling in the body.

Your videos and sequences are somehow becoming better each time. Even though I though that every practice is already perfect❤️ And I enjoyed the liquidity of changing poses - it felt really natural, just as one long movement. Haven’t mentioned how 25 minutes have passed.

Your mindful seated yoga sessions for beginners have been life changing for me, I started doing the video 2 weeks ago just once a day and could only get through 8 minutes. This morning I completed the session for the first time and it feels AMAZING! I broke my spine and right wrist last year and have had massive issues with mobility and chronic pain. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my mobility in just the past 2 weeks, my posture and even the strength in my right wrist (which has a plate in it now) has improved with this video even though there is very little use of it, but just using my hands behind me with my legs bent is making a difference, it’s incredible. Thank you so much for these! I subscribed and will be trying your other sessions too.

I skipped my yoga practice yesterday and I spent all day today walking around town running errands in the smoky air and the ferocious wind, all while recovering from a sinus infection. This is exactly the practice I needed to ease the soreness in my muscles, bring me some mental clarity, and reconnect me with myself after a very long day. I now feel truly rested and ready for a wonderful night's sleep.

thank you so much for these! i just wanted to say that i would really love to see an intermediate seated class/yin class or an adapted vinyasa class! i love that we have the seated yoga for those of us that are disabled, but would definitely love to have maybe one of the more challenging classes adapted for the disabled yogis! 🥰

i’m absolutely obsessed with your ground and release class from september 2020 and still use it regularly, but of course have to adapt it after about 15:30ish in. the start of that class is sooo beautiful as well as feels amazing, and i love tiger pose, as well as tree pose, warrior 2, and back bends! i just miss having that beautiful strength and flow in my yoga practice, y’know?

thanks again for everything that you do, you’re my favourite yoga channel! ♥️ i really like the soft music and gentle energy, it’s such a wonderful, immersive experience. i’m hoping this comment doesn’t come off like you’re not offering enough, because you absolutely are! it’s more that this is something that is so rarely seen because often disabled = slower + easier + less position variation within the yoga world, and i just miss being able to participate in classes that aren’t necessarily that every time. anyway, _really, _ thank you!

Heavenly. Initially listened to this as seated meditation simply to savor your calming voice and the music. Then did the practice twice, as a flowing meditation, varying it slightly the second time. Easily could've indulged it again as it spoke to exactly what I needed today to fully sink in, just be. Thank you.
