Chair yoga is a wonderful practice for every body, suitable for beginners and seniors.

Hey yogis, this week I'm offering you an easy chair yoga sequence that's suitable for all experience levels, a great yoga class for beginners, seniors or people with limited mobility.

Chair yoga is a great way to slowly and gently build strength and flexibility. You won't need anything other than a chair, try to find one that doesn't have arms and one that has back support.

This course is suitable for all ages and all fitness levels. If you're looking for an alternative to traditional floor yoga while getting the same benefits, look no further. Chair Yoga is a great way to gently stretch and strengthen key muscles while staying safe and respecting your body's limits. This is a wonderful practice for seniors, office workers who want to do yoga at their desk or people working with injuries.

I'm a senior now and due to chronic back pain, I don't move much now but I have always been very active until now. Sadly, I have gained weight I have never carried before and I must push through to find me again. Through loss of all of my family and depression, I choose to fight. Thank you for this! I experienced a TIA stroke April 2023. I'm blessed to be able to this yoga as part of my Post-Stroke recovery.

I have been doing 2 of your online yoga classes every day for 8-10 weeks. OMG I have no hip pain at all at night or anytime during the day. I was never an exercise person but if I can't commit to a half hour a day at age 66 years old in retirement then I have an issue. Thank you so much Kassandra . I will at some point get my hips off the chair can feel I am much stronger and love the twists.

I've just started doing your yoga classes. I've been doing yoga for 5 yrs and being 73 was finding studio classes not really to my liking and couldn't get the teacher I liked at the classes I attended. I decided to give your classes a go. I have loved every one I have done, which makes me want to do a class every morning, mostly 30 mins. I was worried that I would not be disciplined enough to stick to it but I have and look forward to a new one every morning. I walk for an hour every morning at 5.30am so by 8.30 my body is ready to do whatever class I choose. Kassandra thank you so much for your great classes and being a pensioner the free classes are much appreciated. I live in Darwin, Australia.

I’m a paraplegic who was an avid enthusiast prior to my injury, 42 years ago. I can’t do a couple of the moves in your video, so I just adapt and do what I can. Thank you so much for the video. I feel energized!

I'm 76 and started doing yoga 20 years ago. I had total hip replacement 6 weeks ago and started doing chair yoga this week to help loosen up and strengthen muscles I haven't been able to use for almost three months. I would love to see more chair yoga classes. I enjoyed this one very much.

I'm 74 and have strength and balance issues so chair yoga is a wonderful way to improve my flexibility without having to get on the floor since getting up and down is challenging right now. The chair yoga gives me a boost of energy in the morning!

I have a chronic autoimmune disease that has created pain and issues preventing me from regular yoga. After an unexpected surgery this winter I found this video and continue my practice daily. Thank you for sharing this wonderfully gentle practice with those in need.

I'm 70 years old, and recovering from a severe injury to the vestibular nerve in my left inner ear, which led to serious balance issues. Along with physical therapy, this chair yoga class has been very helpful for regaining my balance, flexibility and strength. Thanks, Kassandra!

Thank you! I know this has been here for a while, but my cerebral palsy has been bad lately. I feel guilty that I don't work out, and these are so useful! I feel so much better physically and emotionally after these.

This was amazing! I'm in my late 30's but disabled. I had back surgery and then a difficult pregnancy so it's been hard to get back to fitness. I felt amazing after this. I've never tried chair yoga but loved this thanks for creating ❤What a great way to energize to start the day, beat the afternoon slump or feel relaxed before bed
