Improve Your Neck Posture and Reduce Neck Pain with These Simple Exercises

Forward head posture, also known as "text neck," occurs when the head is positioned forward and down, causing the neck to bend unnaturally.

This can lead to a loss of the normal cervical curve, which is the natural curve of the neck that helps to distribute weight and reduce stress on the spine.

A loss of cervical curve can lead to a number of problems, including neck pain, headaches, and upper back pain. It can also contribute to poor posture, which can make a person appear slouched or hunched over.

This condition is becoming increasingly common, as more and more people spend long hours looking at screens and engaging in other activities that involve forward head posture.

The best way to correct forward head posture and restore the cervical curve is through regular exercise, including stretches and exercises that target the neck, shoulders, and upper back.

It's also important to be mindful of your posture throughout the day and to take regular breaks to stretch and move around.

Thanks @ChiroCarl. I can feel a lump on a muscle in the back of my neck on one side when the muscle is in spasm and that causes a headache. I've been getting this for fifteen years and it comes on any time of day or night. I sometime wake up with headaches, sometimes they come on at random times of the day. How long do you need to do these exercises for before they have an effect? I see some comments on other videos saying they get instant releif. I've not been that lucky but am happy to keep going with them if it needs a bit longer.
