How to Do Weighted Ball Long Toss

Indoor demonstration of weighted ball long toss. This is a staple of our throwing work and a drill included with our 8-week starter program.

We utilize this as a warm-up drill with balls between 6-11 ounces.

Effort levels stay below 75%. At submaximal effort, the weight of the ball can help you slot into or find a better arm action.

We use our leather weighted balls, which we also use for command and bullpen work.
