I just started implementing this in my workout.
50lb ball 12 slams for 5 sets.
I didn't expect it to be so difficult LOL great work out. I look like an idiot slamming the ball in the corner of the gym but I do enjoy this work out alot. Hopefully my fellow gym goers don't get annoyed .

When you’re doing it for explosive reasons, do you have to do it in a fast motion?

Im trying to implement this as a pitcher, so I only have a 4lb ball at home but do alot of reps. I enjoy the exercise, but my lower back usually tightens up or feels stiff the next day. Normal soreness or is my form off? Lol

Im 42 and certainly not as bulletproof as i used to be is this a high risk exercise or is it relatively safe??? Olz reply

No word of a lie just about broke my nose doing this because of the bounce it had came back hit me in the nose starting gushing blood lol

Huh? You should also squat, pick it up on the single bounce, and continue through the rep range.

This is not a medicine ball..they bounce..this is a 'slam ball or dead ball'.

This video needs to be taken down IMMEDIATELY. My daughter just spent the day in the ER due to a med ball that BOUNCED and hit her in the face!! 😡😡😡

This isn’t good form. Start in a squatting form, Raise the ball above your head as you proceed to stand on the balls of your feet, then as you’re slamming the ball down, return back to squatting position to engage your legs and core.
