I've got a couple hundred lead acid bicycle chargers... they are 24volt chargers with a three wire plug which is basically two 12volt hot and a ground.
If you want any they are REALLY nice. They sold for 200 bucks new. I'd trade them for store credit SUPER cheap.

If you found you're way here after having trouble waking up your 20 cell scooter packs here's my experience June 2022:
Charging directly to the thin wires with no other steps only worked on one of my 5 packs purchased recently, Red light blinks 5-8 times then stops, charger stays green.
I'm not sure if this may be because they have been sitting for some time at this point or other factors I don't understand, but if you end up in a similar situation I have seen some success with hitting the reset and charging threw the discharge port (Thicker cables) as shown in this video.

Lol, I found this two days after I ordered batteries from Jag because they ones I have all were dead. Just revived 4 dead batteries with this wakeup trick and waiting for the ones I ordered from Jehu.

Comment on the 30 cell scooter battery. Two of the four i bought would not wake up after i used all the tricks I could find. I soldered positive wire with xt60 to the positive on battery and used a splicer on the negitive wire. Left all the orginal wiring and the BMS alone and used charging port to recharge after discharging it on a bike ride. BTW I put battery in a piece of 2"x3" vinyl downspout to protect it. Used a 3"x4" to run two in parallel.

And how do we know if the batteries really are dead or is in hibernation mode…?

Thanks for the info at 11:30. My externa battery has been acting up and i got error code 42 and i have tried charging it with the cord but it just blinks, so now imma get the special one that plugs into the back side of it.

I enjoyed your video and learned alot, where are some of these sources for these NOS (new old stock) e-bike batteries, i used to get batteries from inogen packs for medical equipment because you could see before you bought them that they where not dead cells before you bought a bulk of them by looking at the capacity test on the batteries but big warehouses buy these all up now, i dont want used pc batteries because people dont usually replace these unless they are really used up. It didnt occur to me about the e-bike packs but now are building more of these and need a small bulk supply for these.

Jag, be carefull with es4 external pack. Thru bottom cottector this packs are not balansing! I seen them go very bad on balansing.

I had a load problem when I used this hack. So the resistor worked fairly well with full volts on my scooters, BUT... the Bms was then shutting off under load. I want to keep the bms for charging/balancing purposes, so then hard wired direct from the battery poles at either end. Sorted! No shut down and I just monitor the power levels on my controller for now.

For the Xiaomi scooter battery. can you really charge them directly from the bigger positive and negative wire? i think those are the output wires. will it damage the battery? i'm trying to build a power station from these batteries, but confuse if i can combine the original charging (smaller positive and negative) wires for charging.

what are the dimensions of the full block on the 30 cell 36v 10A scooter battery - the second one shown. Wondering if it will fit into the Razer 300, as an upgrade. thx Looks 15 cells long so thats 11 inches and a BMS on the end, so 13 inches maybe?
