Today's low Impact HIIT workout focuses on both strength and cardio! We are using dumbbells in this home workout to build lean muscle and burn fat all with no jumping exercises - making this an apartment friendly workout! You'll also notice I'm throwing in some moves today to challenge your balance and mobility so embrace the shake and do your best!!

Workout Breakdown: Warm Up
2 low impact circuits: 45s work + 15s rest x 2 rounds each
Cool down + Stretch
Equipment Needed: dumbbells (I’m using a 5lb + 10lb set) exercise mat or other soft surface.

As a group fitness instructor, I come back to Heather's workouts time and again after finding them online during the COVID lockdown this spring. Oooff that deadlift with the row balance requirement!

PS: I love the little moments when you smile and reveal that a set was challenging or you need to catch your breath a bit. It’s just the right amount of humanizing comfort that helps remind us that we’re pushing through difficult work.

Amazing! HR up in orange almost the whole time! Cardio effect present but without the high knees, running in place etc (which I was dreading) so thank you for an awesome, low impact, effective sweat sesh Heather! I will come back to this one!

Wow. I think the best thing that happened to me since the end of last year is to come across your channel. I love all your exercises, but the low impact and resistance mini bands are the best for me. I always ended up exhausted, but has been worth it.
