Honey Lemon Chicken Meal Prep

There’s no reason to eat plain chicken & rice when you can make this incredibly easy and delicious recipe. One of my favourite meal preps!

Macros per serving (4 servings total)

415 calories - 40g protein | 44g carbs | 8g fat

Ingredients (for 4 servings)

For the Chicken

- 700g Cubed Raw Chicken Breast
- 20ml Light & Dark Soy Sauce (Low Sodium)
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Lemon Juiced
- 2 tsp Olive Oil for cooking
- 10-15g Honey

For the Rice

- 480g Cooked Basmati Rice (120g per serve)
- 1 Red Onion finely sliced
- 1 Red Bell Pepper chopped
- 15ml Dark Soy Sauce
- 10g Honey
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
- Garnish Green Onion

Distribute into 4 equal servings & ENJOY!

Important Notes

- When adding the honey to the chicken make sure the heat is turned off
- You can store the meal preps for up to 5 days and freeze for months. Reheat in a microwave or on a pan
- You can marinate the chicken for 30 mins or overnight for best flavour

Your chicken and rice recipes be bangin! I'd also like to see something for Lemon Pepper Chicken. Had some at a chicken spot and couldn't get enough of it. It's also the most popular flavor at Wingstop.

I tried this recipe and it was really really good! I used a little bit less honey for personal preference but I'd rate this recipe a solid 8/10 🎉

I've been doing the lemon honey and soy sauce on chicken for about 30 years!! I feel like I made that up lol.. nice to see my recipe. Although, you need a little bit of chicken stock to mix in it kind of cuts the salty out and give you a little more savory. Try adding like a quarter cup or more of chicken stock over the rice and vegetables with the lemon honey and soy. I promise you will love it

This looks really good, just note i have no idea how this guy came to 415 calories. I've worked it out on google and my fitness pel and its always comes out to 500 - 600 calories.

I’ve just tried this my self and it’s REALLY good. I’ve put some sriracha sauce to add more spice and it tasted amazing! It only took me ten minutes to make and it’s super delicious.
