TBH a good mobility ( NOT stretching) program will also incorporate a lot of stabilisation patterns, and transitional sequences between movements in a continuous flow to integrate them together. Calimove's Mobility programme is a good example, as is the stuff from Original Strength

I am in shape and work out regularly. With that said, everything in my hips would snap if i did some of those stretches 💀

There is a simple exercise for this. While standing lift one leg as high as you can to the front, side, or back. The back should be straight, but you can do it upright or leaning.
It's not as intense as in the video, but doing it occasionally should prevent you from ever getting stiff in the first place.

I did controlled seated external & internal leg extensions with a cable and foam roller between the legs. They cleared decades of restriction & opened up my hips like never before. 😊 Few talk about this.

Around 70 years old is when this is very important for me 😂 I was in the habit of pounding on my hips to get them to work. These exercises are better
