About Jacquelyn Umof (aka Action Jacquelyn):

Jacquelyn is an international yoga and fitness trainer, educator, speaker, and founder of her two online training programs - Get Stretchy, a yoga therapy stretching program, and the Stretchy Fit App, a yoga-fitness monthly membership app helping women gain flexibility, strength and confidence at home. She’s a former ballerina, NBA Laker Girl, ballroom dancer and celebrity fitness trainer. However, in her career she found herself suffering from crippling anxiety and panic attacks. This led her down a path to discover a natural solution to her suffering instead of medication. After one of her first yoga experiences, Jacquelyn found that when she became present in her body the anxiety went away. The anxiety couldn’t survive in the present moment. After this pivotal moment, she realized she had the least anxiety when she had the most mind-body connection. This has inspired Jacquelyn’s work after her transformative breakthrough experience. Jacquelyn is passionate about educating people on the importance of stretching and how it builds a better, stronger relationship with their body and mind.

oh wow- I think I found my new favourite teacher <3 Can't get enough of your classes. I stopped going to the gym a couple of years ago because of this toxic fitness culture that's all about 'pushing your limits' etc. It lead me to an injury and ever since high impact/weight lifting has been off-limits. I'm working out at home now and I'm so grateful to find such high quality professional content with amazing, clear guidance that's available for all bodies/fitness levels. It allows me to really be present with my own body and feel pleasure while moving. I could never get that in any of the gym classes I used to attend!

I have been suffering back pain and can't do heavy lifting or HIIT exercises at the moment. This kind of workout is what I can fall back on. I exercise regularly for over 11 years now and this is still a challenge for me, a good kind. It's effective. My sweats tell it all. And more importantly it cares for your body. Thank you AJ for your hard work. Really appreciate it.

I'm slowly getting back into my workout routine after an 8 week hiatus (moving stinks!). I love the focus on balance as it really fires up my muscles! I felt the burn in my 🍑 and legs! I did have to modify the last ab move as my abs are weak rn. And thank you for the tweaks, because once I moved my leg out a bit and used my heel on the bridge move, I felt my glutes fire up!

I am so happy to have found your channel and have subscribed. This is 2nd class of yours that I have tried and was thrilled it focused so much on balance. Since I've been doing at-home workouts, I haven't worked enough on balance (shame on me!) so any time I see one like this, I get excited! This was tough, challenging, but oh so worth it! My booty was screaming! I would like to see a playlist focused to different balance exercises--maybe in 15, 20 minute snippets. Thanks for a great workout!! 💖⚡
