I lost 130 lbs in a year with IF, cardio and keto to get to my target weight. I kept it off for about 4 months then put 40 lbs back on in 2 months before I decided I wasnt going back down that road. It has been much more difficult this time around but I have lost about 20 of those 40 lbs but it has taken me about a year to do it. Still keeping a healthy lifestyle and it has been great for my mental health regardless.

I lost 120 lbs doing keto and IF...100 lbs in the first 6 months… then 20 lbs in the next 3 months 😊👍😉 and I was 66 years old and fat and lazy 🤣

All I see is people saying they went off keto and started eating bad again. Stop eating so much junk and keep working out you'll be fine. Losing weight will always be an effort. It's not a do it once and done thing

When you said about maintaining the weight that we've lost, did you mean that we slowly start adding carb to our diet and with time break ourself out of keto, and then after the maintenance part, we start over once again with keto ?
Sorry, if its a stupid question but ... i would sincerely love to know, since ive started keto today

The worst thing we can do is read other people’s astronomical losses of 30lbs and up in a couple of months
If you have a lot to lose, you can lose it super crazy fast.
If you have less than 30lbs to lose, you won’t lose it fast at all. That’s when the recommended maximum healthy loss amounts come in.

So when someone says they lost x large amount in y shirt time - the question is - what was the start weight?

I wanted to lose 40 lbs and I’ve lost 30. it is coming off very slow, , , I started feb 15. I’ve had a few treat days, maybe 4. I’m going on a family reunion vacation on Sunday… creates a little stress.. I also try to fast once a week for 44 hours. I worry about maintenance. Have no clue what that will look like!

I lost 25 pounds in 3 months on keto. Started eating standard diet brought on by couple of cheat days and gained back about 10 pounds in a couple of weeks. I have 100 some weight to lose and have to remember to be patient.

I only do keto to stop me from binge eating and having too many takeaways. Once I hit a good weight I'll probably just eat at my normal maintenance -500 cals. Normal weightloss is 1-2lbs per week

Last time I did keto I lost 10kg in the first 2 weeks. This time it's been 2 weeks so far and I've only lost 2 kg. Maybe it's because this time my starting weight was 13kg lower than last time. Less water weight.

I started this Keto 4 weeks ago I am a 58y Male 188cm 138kg . In the first 2 weeks i lost around 7kg another 2kg in the past 2 weeks BUT i am always hungry, i dont sleep well i feel sick all the time and my stomach always rumble, all those torture to lose 9kg ??
