Here's a home-based diabetes fitness video routine that doesn't require a gym membership, fancy workout clothes, or expensive equipment.

How important is exercise for diabetes?

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) recommends 30 minutes of moderate activity most days of the week. If you have trouble fitting in 30 minutes of exercise at a time, consider breaking it up into 10-minute segments. It's best to spread your activity out over at least 3 days during the week and try not to go more than 2 days in a row without exercising. Remember: moderate intensity means that you are working hard enough that you can talk, but not sing, during the activity. Vigorous-intensity means you cannot say more than a few words without pausing for a breath during the activity.

If you haven't been very active recently, start out with 5 or 10 minutes a day. Then, increase your activity sessions by a few minutes each week. Over time, you'll see your fitness improve, and you'll find that you're able to do more. Getting started with Diabetes exercises at home.

Today was my first I am not a confident person having people watch me exercise but I have to take care of myself and my body to live long to see my grandchildren so thank you for this channel much appreciate it is helping me a lot I have been diagnosed hypertensive and diabetes after having my children but I am just feeling the effect but with God all things are possible so I'm not claiming on my body I will be diabetic free and hypertensive free in Jesus name but as God is working on the spiritual man I will be working on the physical man so pray for me for the spirit of endurance and commitment I will be free

Im a 76 yr old diabetic & doing erobix for 30 yrs. Just tried your workout level 3 in a week & I love it ❤️I hope you can make a full 30 minute level 3 diabetic exercises! More power!!!

I have 6.3 sugar level and i am doing every morning l excercises and make feel good. I hope I will drop my A!C level by 3 month. Thank you so much for your help and encouragement. I am already using 1 & 2 and my blood sugar went down from 478 mg/dl to 125 mg/dl almost normal.. amazing.. I'm gonna download this 3 so I can follow too. Thanks Caroline 😊❤️

My benefit during self-quarantined time: found & do your exercises (3 levels) in AM & PM. My sugar level has dropped dramatically daily. I should have known these excercises long ago. Thanks so much Caroline. God bless YOU!

Thanks for the video, I have been doing the different levels of exercise for diabetes to manage my gestationnal diabete (GD) which have been helping me so far for my fasting levels by reducing them by 0.5mmol/L.
Would be thrilled if you could do longer workout videos (for ex 30 min :)) to keep helping manage my GD! :)
