If you're living with osteoarthritis or any other type of arthritis, you know that certain foods can trigger pain and inflammation in your joints. In this video, we'll be discussing the foods that trigger arthritis pain and the best diet for arthritis pain relief.

First, let's talk about the foods that cause joint pain. These are often referred to as inflammatory foods, and they can exacerbate arthritis symptoms. Common culprits include processed foods, sugary drinks, red meat, and fried foods. These foods can increase inflammation in your body, leading to more pain and swelling in your joints.

On the flip side, there are foods that can help reduce inflammation and ease arthritis pain. These include fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean protein sources like fish and chicken, and healthy fats like olive oil and nuts. Following an anti-inflammatory diet that is rich in these foods can help reduce your arthritis triggers and improve your overall health.

If you're looking for a diet for arthritis pain relief, it's important to avoid foods that worsen arthritis symptoms. This may include cutting back on high-fat dairy products, alcohol, and processed foods. Instead, focus on consuming more anti-inflammatory foods and incorporating supplements like omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D into your diet.

Overall, an arthritis-friendly diet is one that is rich in whole, nutrient-dense foods that reduce inflammation and support joint health. By avoiding inflammatory foods and incorporating more anti-inflammatory options, you can help manage your arthritis symptoms and improve your quality of life. So, if you're looking to reduce your joint pain, start by examining your diet and making some simple changes today.

35 years back I had so many joint issues that I couldn't use my hands and walking was painful. I went on a strict low carb diet. I gave up all fruit, grains and other high carb foods.Today I have very little in joint issues at 73. I haven't had an issue with red meat as it's the basis of most low carb diets. I firmly believe it's the mix of meats and high carb foods that lead to health issues attributed to eating red meat. I will add that I eat a small cbd edible before bed every night that helps with sleep and inflammation. I will also mention that eating high cholesterol foods has only the most minor effect of blood cholesterol. That's mainly supplied by the liver and it uses fruit, grains and other high carb foods to manufacture that cholesterol from. In other words those foods suggested to lower cholesterol are used by the liver to make cholesterol.

I know you are only passing on what you've been taught. But what if you;ve been taught wrong? I am 70 years old and have battled rheumatoid arthritis and gout since 1985. Sugar has never bothered me and I like my sweets. I only drink one can of soda pop a day, but I eat a lot of sweets from cake, pie, , custard rice pudding, and ice cream and none of it bothers me.
I also eat all the red meat I want. We buy a cow and have it processed at a local butcher shop and the meat never bothers me. I don't eat many processed foods because we believe a person is healthier if they cook like our grandparents did. We cook most of our food from scratch.
I don't drink any alcohol becuase I was raised by a drunk. But when I did drink alcohol it never bother me, as a matter of fact it seems to help my gout problem.
When it comes to salt, I don't think it really flares up arthritis or gout, but it does stiffens your joints. Too much salt is just bad all around, bad on your joints and heart. If one using a lot of salt they also need to increase the amount of water they consume. It is all a matter of balance. We need to keep a good balamce of salt and water in our systems.
What bothers me most is food colorings, like yellow cheese. Cheese is made out of milk which is white, there is NO yellow cheese that is natural. I can eat all the white cheese I want, but not yellow cheese. Food colorings in Kool-Aid flares me up also/ And food colorings in certain candy like those peppermint pillows that melt in your mouth. Boy are they tastey, but they make me hurt so I don't eat them. I also have trouble with things like Summer Squash, Broccoli, and califlower. Peanuts and peanut butter is very high in protein and flares my gout up.
There is also one crazy thing that flares my gout up every time and believe, e this doesn't make any sense. Cinnamon. I can't eat cinnamon without a flare up. Even just a sprinkling on some rice will flare me up.
Well, I've shared with you what flares me up. These foods might only be for me, but they might also be a problem for others. The only way they can find out is try them or delete them from there diet.
