Went keto 4 years ago and no doubt i managed to lose a lot of weight..but 4 months ago i went for blood test and i was pre diabetic...still continued on the keto diet and tried to add more veggies to the diet, but still developed type 2 diabetes last month..Would appreciate any kind of advice!!

The introduction of this video states more research needs to be done to determine the Keto diets' long term I do not understand why anyone, especially doctors and scientists would question if the keto diet is healthy for the long-term. You have got to be kidding me: we are eating healthy protein, fats and vegetables. What more do they want? We are just not eating starchy foods or sugars, and there are absolutely NO scientific papers showing that we must eat sugary fruits, legumes, potatoes, winter squash, any kind of grains or even dairy. to be healthy Non-starchy vegetables provide the variety of necessary vitamins, to have a complete healthy body eating on only basic keto.
