Hello everyone! I am frequently asked about the most 'ideal' or 'effective' time to exercise. Is it better to exercise first thing in the morning? or afternoon or evening? Gym-goers have always been bothered by these questions at some point. Should we choose our workout time based on our convenience or on scientific factors? So, in this video, I'll go over some important information about how to choose your ideal workout time and what to consider when scheduling your workout sessions.

The time of day in which you train is something you’ve probably never taken into much consideration – but surprisingly, research shows that there’s actually a “best time of day to workout” that not only provides slightly greater strength gains and boosts performance, but seems to significantly accelerate the rate of muscle growth. Therefore, choosing whether you should perform a morning vs evening workout is something you should likely consider! And long story short – research tends to show that late afternoon or evening/night workouts tend to be the best time to train when compared to morning workouts. This is because in the evening, you’re more hydrated, more fueled with glycogen, and most importantly your core body temperature is at its highest. Since we know that core body temperature is highly correlated with exercise performance, this is likely why research tends to show that a workout at a night trumps morning workouts. However, before you go ahead and change your workout schedule, it’s important to note that there are benefits to both morning and night workouts. And if you prefer morning workouts over evening workouts, then what you can do to minimize any performance decrements is simply: ingest caffeine prior to your workout, ensure you’re adequately warmed up before your workout in order to raise your core body temperature, and be consistent with the time of your workout! But all in all, in the grand scheme of things, the time of your workout is not something you should stress over. Simply choose a workout time that best suits your schedule – because consistency and adherence to your training program are the most important factors when it comes to what will deliver you results.

I tried both working out in morning and evening as well, I must say in evening workouts I have 2x intensity workout compared to morning now I do 1 hour cardio morning and workout at evening

Some do morning workout, others do evening workout. But then there are people who do neither evening nor morning workout, they just look for excuses.

My personal experience says
1. Morning workout is the best time if you are gaining weight. It improves the digestion also. It gives Quick results. Because you keep your calories check. Can eat much.
I had digestive problem navel displacement/ IBS, never thought I would gain even 1 kg in life.
I have tried both morning and evening but I must say morning workout is the only time you should go.

Morning is the best time to exercise. Don’t listen to anyone as they says do at that time which suits you. If your job or routine doesn’t allow you do at morning change the job or routine not morning exercise. Health always first. Job and opportunity definitely you will get again but Health never

Bro, thank you for the clarity. Please help me with one question related to weight loss - How often to reduce calories while losing fat ? For example, i started at 1700 calories for weight loss, now lost 5 kgs so should i lower calories again using calorie calculator as i have lost 5 kgs of weight?
I was thinking to adjust calories after every 5kgs reduction...is this the correct way or only reduce the calories when i stop losing weight(plateau) ?

Office se ghar aate aate hi 9 baj jaate hai mera...and subah 8 baje nikalna hota hai office k liye...gym karne ka time hi nhi milta... college life mey karta tha gym...
