Mornings are the best because after your workout, you spend the rest of your day feeling great about yourself. 😊

For me the problem is around 4-7pm the GYM IS PACKED RIDICULOUSLY! In the morning from 9am-1pm my Gym is empty as hell and I love an empty gym lol but maybe I'll start using my Home Gym Around those times lol

I like morning. The later on the day gets, the more tired I become. Plus if you're going to any events, parties, etc. that night, you're not gonna do it afterwards.

My personal tip: Do short cardio exercises in the morning to keep you body energetic, then do some heavy workouts in evening which help you having better sleep.

I usually go to the gym at night. Less people and I have more energy than in the morning.

Thing is... all my energy suddenly spikes at night

*Literally most of us* : watching in bed late at night planning for the next day to just procrastinate exercising

I love working out from 8-9 PM. It works really well because I am taking classes during the day and I'm not much of a morning person. Also, working out at night helps me feel really great before I go to sleep and I sleep better after a good workout.

Best time to work out is whenever it suits you so you can be consistent. Fun fact: Most world records are set around 4PM so keep that in mind.

EDIT: The real answer is that it depends. But you knew that.

As concerned as I am about muscle growth, here's a friendly reminder: Gain is not the only benefit of training, it also affects your BRAIN. By working out in the morning you release endorphins and this positively affects your mood, your appetite, your attention span; in a nutshell you're better prepared to face your day. Cheers!

The best time to work out is when you have time to work out. No matter what time of day it is

As a highschool student, I train at about 4:30am so I have time to train, get home, get ready for the day and then start with my schoolwork at 7:30am

I've always enjoyed a 11pm to 1 am workout since that way my quality of sleep was just amazing and still managed to wake up at 7 am and do it over again

I'm so glad I found this. My workouts and energy are always better in the evening and bad in the morning, infact i even get sleepy after morning and afternoon workouts

You didn't consider a critical factor into this research: working out in the evening (18~20) means waiting 15 minutes for a machine/barbell in most gyms.

This sucks because the gym is always full during those times
