It’s been 4 months since me and my ex broke up. I thought my life was over and I prayed everyday that he would come back to me so the pain would stop, but I rarely think of him now. Update: ex reached out after 48 days, started texting, today he called several times then BROUGHT AN ABANDONED KITTEN he found downtown over to my place. I was very thrown off by the kitten so all the plans of "keeping my cool" when we met again kinda went out the window. I acted pretty frazzled and hopefully didn't mess things up.

Coach thank you. I followed everything you said about no contact. I started no contact Sept 26, 2019 and he reached out November 30th saying he missed me and couldn't stop thinking about me. To be completely honest when I started no contact I was hoping for us to get back together even though he broke my heart and told me he no longer had feelings for me because he fell for another girl. He was chasing after a girl who wasnt even interested in him. After the breakup I took a trip to korea for 3 weeks and it helped me clear my mind and when I returned I realized how dumb I was for hoping that he reach out and I just didnt care anymore and moved on. My ex broke up with me. I chased her. We go out but then I realized I'am doing the wrong thing. We've been together for almost 10 years. She said she's always there for me but I cut off all the ties with her and finally decided to go on with my life. Yes, it give me chills down my spine the times I think about her but I try to shake it off my mind. Now I'm still struggling. I'm still hoping but not so much. Just pray.
