In depth guide on how to make an omelette

Step one: Get two or three eggs and whisk with a fork in a bowl. The fork is important because a whisk will get too much air into the eggs. Once beaten, salt and pepper your eggs.

Step two: Heat a NONSTICK skillet on medium heat for around three minutes to close all the possible pores in the metal. Next, add enough butter to coat the bottom and sides of your pan.

Step three: Get a rubber spatula that is relatively thin (one used to scrape the sides of a mixing bowl). With your eggs in the pan, place the spatula in the center of the eggs and gently move in a circular/back and forth motion but do not mess up the edge, This will move cooked egg out of the way for uncooked egg to touch the bottom of the pan.

Step four: once there is no more runny, uncooked egg (other than jiggly egg white) place cheese on one half and any other toppings like bacon bits on the other half. Then, cover your pan while on the heat for around 2 minutes, this cooks the rest of the egg and puffs the omelette up a bit. (Also melts any cheese)

Once these steps are completed, gently work the spatula around your omelette to ensure it is not stuck, and then fold in half.

I like that your recipes contain a lot of protein and I don’t know how your diet looks as a whole (one meal is not representative for sure), but I often miss the veggies in what you show us 😃
I would add fresh tomato, parsley, a leaf of lettuce or cucumber or cook some sliced mushroom, paprika or onion with the egg.
Protein fuels muscles but micronutrients are important as well ❤
