For those of you who don't know, Japanese mayo is also called Kewpie mayo you can find it at most Asian grocery stores. Kewpie mayo has more egg yolk in it than American mayo so there is a taste / consistency difference.

In my version (not japaneese) I add a little bit of vinegar and mustard, and finely chopped chives
