I've tried every stretch under the sun to Open up the inner thighs, or groins, or adductors, whatever you want to call them :). This stretch is the one that keeps giving, no matter if you're super stiff, tight, and restricted, or if you're working to get your full pancake or middle splits. The Butterfly, or tailor pose, must be done correctly in order to get the most benefit, so follow along and get flexible.

This is one of our favorite stretches Josh and I use to keep our adductors healthy. The Butterfly stretch is going to show up for you in so many areas in your life, whether it's sitting cross legged comfortably, wanting to execute your squats correctly or just getting around throughout your day. ANYONE can gain from this stretch. We know everyone is pretty familiar with the butterfly stretch, but have you really focused on it in this way before? Experiment and have fun!
