I am just ordinary 50 yrs old Man, and I search YouTube for jumping rope exercises.
I have found out that your timing is the most suitable for me, I divide 50 x 12 and do it on Monday, Wednesday, Friday...
Meanwhile on the other days, I do jogging for 1 km and combine with scout jump.
I try this exercise since I need to upgrade my physics for badminton, training my youngest boy. I used to play badminton 3 times a week before, around 18 years ago...
And it works....

For people who don't have a jump rope yet or are waiting for their jump ropes to be delivered, you can honestly just do this amazing workout even jogging on the spot. Grab your mat (I just use one of those puzzle mats kids use) and get jogging! The main thing to concentrate on is the music and the timing. Given that this is a HIIT workout, the key is to go FAST for 20 seconds and give it YOUR ALL, then rest for 20 seconds, then give it your all again - and repeat. I had a difficult time working out in the past cos every other video is just so mind-numbingly boring and so much talking that I felt demotivated every single time. These videos, however, are a class all on their own: the music, the visuals, and the timing are perfect. Honestly, thank you thank you THANK you, Winter! I didn't try this yet as we went for a long walk today (and btw, I DEFINITELY notice a positive difference in my cardiovascular system) so I got my exercise for the day... but definitely trying this tomorrow morning and will get back with the results soon! <3

Honestly, Winter, I am so grateful for all these 10 minute videos. I really appreciate being able to have the option to have SO many different videos to choose from because in the past, what had stopped me from exercising is boredom, plain and simple. But having such a wide selection of short 10 min videos gives me options and I can't even begin to express how instrumental that is towards my internal motivation to exercise. Did you take any sports psychology courses by any chance, Winter??? I know you and your husband are certified trainers but I was wondering because you guys are SMART in understanding what makes human beings in this day and age want to MOVE. I am so excited to try this tonight. Thanks SO much, Phoenix Nation!

Lockdown again No jump rope for a month gives these toes time to heal from to much jump rope.

SO, I did this yesterday. I could not BELIEVE how fast I was done! Things I liked are as follows:-
1. The music: fast-paced, I like! It makes the workout go by that much faster! I do prefer music with lyrics because I get so caught up in the music I don't even realize my tiredness! Like the music you used in your other videos, Winter, "Baby, can't you see I'm dancing next to you, " "Call the fire department cos I'm burning(I THINK that's the one unless I butchered the lyrics, haha)." But, I am glad you switch up the music, Winter! :) I hope you will make some more videos with the super-fast techno lyrical EDM music! I get so busy enjoying the music that I don't even realize I am sweating bullets and working out so much harder!

2. The number of rounds: I like the shorter number of rounds. It makes the workout go by FAST. Like at the end of the third (FINAL) round, I was like, that's it??? And THAT, my friends, is a feeling that doesn't quite compare ;)

3. The intervals: I like the 20 seconds! Again, makes the workout go by FAST and I find myself going that much harder with the shorter amount of time.
I was wondering maybe make some videos with the breaks shorter than the workout portion? Like say 20 second GO, then 10 or 15 second break, then go again.

I hope you will continue to make more such HIIT workouts, Winter! Even during a pandemic, life still needs to be lived for those of us who are blessed to be alive and safe and I want to appreciate the life that I have been blessed from the Almighty with. I don't even care if some people think I am being too dramatic; I feel incredibly thankful to be able to exercise, consider it a blessing from Almighty Allah and I pray for you and your husband, Winter, every chance I get because you are making these videos for FREE for the rest of us so we can live our best lives. I pray that you and your husband InshaAllah have happiness and prosperity and joy always. We love you, Mrs. Winter! <3

Can you possibly do a video on your way of eating for the week.
I know everyone is different but I like to know what your eating habits are as to go along with your jump rope workouts.
You are in great shape and I would love to know your eating habits and or secrets....lol.🙃😉
