Today we’re going to talk about the health benefits of apple cider vinegar. While apple cider vinegar is being made, certain microbes like bacteria and yeast turn the sugar in apple juice into alcohol, and then eventually into vinegar. The end product of vinegar is called acetic acid. Apple juice that’s not pasteurized goes through the process of fermentation. With the help of microbes, it eventually turns into vinegar. 

I like the organic raw unpasteurized version of apple cider vinegar. I have found that BRAGG is a good brand of apple cider vinegar. It also has “the mother,” which means it has some residue of fiber pectin, bacteria, and yeast.

The main benefits of apple cider vinegar come from acetic acid. But, if it’s raw, it will also be rich in enzymes, which can help with digestion. You don’t want pasteurized apple cider vinegar. If it’s an organic apple cider vinegar, this means that it won’t have pesticides and added chemicals. 

Apple cider vinegar health benefits:

Went to the Dr today. I told him that I had pain in the gall bladder area but since I started drinking apple cider vinegar it went away. I had a number of incidenses where the pain in the gall bladder area was intense. I drank a half cup of apple cider vinegar and it almost immediately subsided by 90%. The Dr said that there are no verified studies to prove that apple cider vinegar helps in gallbladder flare ups. I told him that I am my own verified test of its effectiveness.

I am a RN in ICU and much of what you teach goes against big pharmaceutical companies. Which I love! I hate seeing return visits from type 1 dm. Also I have noticed it goes against American diabetics association and big food companies. And also to some degree nutritional guidelines told to pts in hospital. I have developed type 2 dm from high levels of insulin and insulin resistance from high levels of cortisol and sugar levels. I have learned a lot from you and want to say thank you for you sharing your knowledge and experience.

So Friday driving home I felt so bad I figured I needed a heart doctor must be time for the heart attack to be just around the corner. 50 male 30 pounds over weight drank too much chewed too much and now it’s just time to clean out the arteries. But I looked up Chronic fatigue and came across a video of yours!!! I was like sounds dumb but I feel so horrible I will try anything!!! I have not had energy and slept every waking hour away from work for 30 35 years!!!!
I drove to Walmart bought the unpasteurized ACV. Got it to the truck took a small swig to see how bad it tasted and it was like my body leaped for joy!!!! I drank maybe 1/2 a shot glass worth half way home pulled over and another 1/2 shot I felt better in 30 min. Than I have in 30 years. I drank some before I went to bed and two swigs before I left the house this morning. I didn’t have the shakes had energy and actually felt very good!!! After 3 months of drinking ACV every first thing in the morning, I can testify that I have gradually lost weight. I still include ACV in my diet with regular exercise, of course. Thanks, Doc!

I am an 87 year old with too many Ilments. Now discovered DR. BERG, and will start some of his treatments. I weigh 225.6 today, should be 180 or maybe 190. Runny nose constantly, sleep apnea, and so on. I will report my status from time to time. GOD WILLING

I've been drinking ACV every night for several weeks and one of the benefits that I've experienced that Dr. Berg doesn't mention is a RESTFUL sleep. This may be connected to lowering insulin. But whatever it's connected to, ACV is helping me sleep so well at night. Try it! - And Dr. Berg - you're the BEST! I'm turning 51 this Feb., but I feel 30!

I am in my third trimester of pregnancy and had been experiencing the WORST acid reflux ever. I couldn’t sleep and would even wake up sometimes to almost throw up. I was so surprised at how quickly ACV resolved the issue. I also find that taking it first thing in the morning, wakes me right up! Way more effective than a cup of coffee!

I've been intermittent fasting for 7 months and I stopped ACV in the morning, laziness...and now my hair is falling out. My minerals aren't absorbed and protein neither. I'm back on ACV and will never stop!

Dr. Eric, I need to tell you this! my body fat percentage have been stuck at 38% of my body weight. I tried everything for years and nothing worked!
then I watched your video and started taking ACV before every meal for 2 weeks now. I went to check my body fat percentage and I was shocked!! IT dropped to 36% in just two weeks. I am so grateful and thankful to you. You change lives! I take it as a shot though.. I mix a table spoon of ACV with 1/4 cup of water and drink it all. Is that ok? also is it ok to take on an empty stomach in the morning?

Had bloating, gas, arthritis in my hands. Saw your video and starting taking acv and my bloating and gas have reduced considerably. My hands feel a lot better as well. I can’t take it all in one sitting so take before and after a meal. Really helped a lot. Thank you so much
