3:33 Benefits of vinegar

Today we’re going to talk about apple cider vinegar vs. distilled white vinegar. Does it matter which one you take?

Apple cider vinegar:
• 5-6% acetic acid
• Source: raw apples
• 1 tbsp has 11mg of potassium
• Certain types have the “mother” which has a tiny bit of bacteria, fiber, and enzymes

White vinegar
• 4-7% acetic acid
• Source: barley, corn, sugar, potato, milk whey, grains
• Great cleanser

Which is better? It relates to the source. Organic apples are much better than the sources of white vinegar. Apple cider vinegar also has additional benefits that white vinegar doesn’t have. But, the effects of distilled white vinegar and apple cider vinegar are going to be very similar. However, because the sources of white vinegar are low-quality, I would say that apple cider vinegar is a better choice.

Major benefits of apple cider vinegar:
1. It’s a digestive aid
2. It can improve insulin sensitivity

The face of disgust that Dr. Berg put when he was going down the list of sources in white vinegar 😂

Leg and foot cramps IMMENSELY improved since beginning ACV 3x daily

The potency of both ACV and white vinegar comes from acetic acid. As Dr Berg himself stated in the video, both will give you near to identical results. The most significant difference is the price. White vinegar is very inexpensive as organic ACV can be very pricey.

Hello Dr. Berg, I can't believe you covered this topic today- I was wondering just as I took my ACV this morning whether it would be just the same to take malt vinegar- and I check my phone, and lo and behold, I get notification of your vlog and the answer to my question 😊

I have Celiac and am allergic to apples. Balsamic all the way for me. I just make sure that grape must is the #1 ingredient. Great video.

Yah shalom Dr.

Ive found the white distilled seems to dissolve mucus and relieve my heart burn faster. Other than that they're both good to me.

Spot on by the way. Great job.

I find I just can’t drink vinegar in my water, so I just make a small appetizer salad with bitter herbs and some olive oil and vinegar 😍 helps so much with digestion!

ACV turns my stomach, but I love pickle juice with about the same amount of water added. I tried so hard to swallow the ACV, but I just couldn't do it!
I saw a gallon of picke juice at Kroger and decided to try it. It has helped my digestion SO MUCH!
I will watch for water retention, but I think I need more salt than I get b/c I really don't like salt.
I just love your videos- always the info I need-- CLEAR AND CONCISE!!👏👏

Try this if you workout during IF or OMAD - cup of green tea (wait till it's warm) + a tablespoon of ACV! (Energy levels on steroids!) 😎

ACV is also good for cooking, add a tbls to soups, sauces, or marinades, especially ones that have a heavier overall flavour. A bit of acidity will improve most savoury dishes.

I like these short videos that explain some key questions or give contextual information for the longer videos that are covering more complex topics.

I found Bragg's Red Wine Vinegar and enjoy the taste. The ACV doesn't sit well with me.

Every morning I add ACV into Dr. Bergs électrolytes, his raw wheat grass with pink himalayen salt and collagen powder and I’m good to go all day till I eat my one meal in the evening. I feel amazing and energetic! Great info once again Dr. Berg🤩🇨🇦

Dr Berg, could you plz do a video on the comparison between ACV and Coconut Vinegar specifically? As understood, coconut Vinegar is highly rich in minerals, right?

Well, he said and he didn't say which one is better. If they are so close, I suggest you use the one that suits your pallet best. I love oil & that taste of white vinegar on my salads with spices. I do not care for acv taste at all.

Thank you Dr. Berg I've back slid on Keto, thank God I had enough sense not to gain a lot of weight. I just started the Apple Cider Vinegar regimen again, will be doing Morning an Night! With all this craziness going on I turned to sugar and Carbs. I didn't let it get out of hand, but now I have to start ALL over again to get back into Ketosis. That's ok because since I started the sugar and carbs again, my knees have been killing me. I know now what is causing my pain, because when I was doing Keto faithfully, my knee pain stopped! God Bless You and Your Family Dr. Berg FOREVER AMEN✝️🙏
