1.The Grand Cherokee has the 8 speed automatic transmission from ZF. The nine speed is for front wheel drive vehicles. The GC is rear wheel drive.
2. They Nissan Pathfinder only got a CVT from the 2013 model year. Before then it had a five (or six, I'm not sure) speed automatic, or an optional five speed manual in some markets. Plus, Nissan has a new generation of CVTs that is *not* going in the 2022 pathfinder.

Yes, the Jeep had a history of rolling over. That was the Jeep CJ5 which has been out of production since the late 1970s. It shares nothing in common with the Jeeps from today.
