Times are strange right now folks
People are buying up USED cars like crazy
-Since they can’t afford new ones,-
And they’re buying them for CRAZY prices!
But believe or not, there are still good cars at reasonable prices out there in the world.
None of the cars on today’s list however, are one of them!

From Fords with the 3 valve Triton, to Volkswagens and Audis with the chain drive 2.0t.
Older Subarus with the EJ25 (we know, let us have it fanboys) to Nissans with the CVT.

And not including old obscure garbage like alot of the stuff from Italy or Russia, or cars that aren't relevant anymore like Chevy Vegas or Plymouth Volares -

These are the 10 of the most unreliable cars in the world.
You wouldn't wish on your worst enemy!
Lets go!

#unreliable #worst #moneypit

I really love your channel my dad would loved this. He used to say that Ford was fixed or repaired daily. Or found on the road dead, he was a Chevy man and Buick man 😊

Hold on, the transmissions failing in the Ford Focus and Fiesta were the Powershift dual clutch transmissions, weren't they? Not CVTs

having a wrecked 2004 Subaru wrx i have never had a problem with the engine and it starts up perfectly all the time, it even passed a compression test with flying colors, so i guess people just dont wanna take care of their subarus

TRAV. Your street cred went waaay up after you shared you've been a technician for 15 years and run a successful shop now. I had no idea and I'd be willing to bet the vast majority of others didn't know either. You need to be sharing these kind of things because your channel is known for "Top 10" lists but you have so much more to offer. PLEASE branch out within this channel. Share some horror stories, share your biggest successes, share stories of hurdles you've overcome. Let people know WHO YOU ARE AS AN INDIVIDUAL. These things make a huge difference man. Thats why Donut Media became so popular, we got to know and "befriend" the crew. We rooted for them.

Very informative content. But as a longtime subscriber to this channel, I think there was a video on cheap, reliable fun cars and that included the Mk 6 golf gti, which uses the 2.0l engine, or am i missing something...? But then, i like the 2 host video. So cool. Great team.

Great vid boys. I did have an 03 WRX with 247000 on the clock before it died. Still on the oem clutch. I always heard about the horrors of them but I musta been lucky.

In my personal experience and opinion the CVT really isn’t all that bad I have a 2012 Altima with 420, 000 miles a 2018 pathfinder with 297, 000 miles and a 2020 Altima with 120, 000 miles. Yes I travel a lot from New York to California and back and no I don’t take it easy on the cars I drive them decently hard and I have never had any issues with any of the CVT’s. They are all still on original CVT’s I always keep up with every cars maintenance and change the CVT fluid every 60, 000 miles. Who knows I might of just gotten lucky with the right CVT’s lol

Thats why I went for an Armada. Pure automatic (wish manual was an option). I'll never drive a Nissan with CVT.

Ford Focus and Fiesta are DCT, not CVT. It's a dry clutch system and the common failure point is the TCM, not the gearbox itself.

I own a 2014 Audi A4 2.0T. Just before 80K I did the timing chains, ditched the plastic water pump for aluminum, cleaned the valves and got a better cam follower for the HPFP. Soon after a #2 fuel injector clogged which caused that cylinder to go lean and ended up burning through an exhaust valve. The car is tuned! So after pulling the head, getting a valve seat replaced I put 2 new exhaust valves and sent the injectors in for cleaning and the car runs great! It's also an oil burner... But I also have an 01 Audi A4 1.8T that I'd rather drive.

To clarify... The Ford Powershitf transmission is a dual clutch, not a CVT... and it sucks.

I do notice that the WRX and STI guy's have their cars a part a lot more than you would think. I have a buddy down the street who has one well kept and never driven. And He will even say stay away from certain models and years...
