I drive for Uber and picked up a Japanese lady from a Mercedes dealership. We start talking and she declares she will never buy another Mercedes again! (A C-class model as I recall). I ask why. She says it’s a 2023 and it’s been in the shop far too often. Last time it was oil leaking from somewhere, before that an electrical issue, now the battery! Joking with her and making her laugh, I told her she’s a Japanese-American and should know better!! Laughing she said I know!! But their damn marketing folks tricked her. She announced by the end of the trip that her next car will in fact be a Lexus. 😅

I've had two Mercedes and I want to tell you that my local dealer's maintenance department was far better at picking my pockets than they were at fixing my cars. I have been driving a 96 Acura 2.5TL for almost 15 years and I don't even need that Acura maintenance department. The car just keeps running like a Swiss watch.

My brother in law is a wholesaler for a large metro Ford dealership. He would 100% agree with not buying a high mileage hybrid. They don’t bring any type decent money at the auto auctions.

Scotty I got a 1991 Mercedes Benz 190e 2.3 it was my first car I still own it it has 155k miles on it and made in Germany I love the car I take really good care of it and I have no issues with it the older Mercedes were much better than the modern day ones for sure! 😊
