This is a 30 minute yes2next intermediate to advanced HIIT (high intensity interval training) cardio workout. The exercises will work your cardiovascular system and improve your balance and coordination while strengthening your upper and lower body. It consists of 4 sets of exercises, each done twice. The exercises are in 30 seconds rounds with 20 seconds of active walking recovery. This workout is for folks who are progressing through yes2next workouts and need more challenge.

Please warm up and cooldown with this video:

To make the exercises easier, slow down the pace and don't use weights. If this workout is too much for you, no problem. Just walk in place or try one of our other workouts in the 10 to 30 minute range. We also offer chair workouts.

YIPPEE!! I did it. Okay I had to go low impact for my knee but i picked up my weights to add a bit more challenge. In just under two months you have helped me to go from laying on the couch to looking forward to to sessions of daily exercise. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Mom, if you hadn't said, " I can do..." I would have given up. You saved me!

I started working out with you and your mom in February. I have never felt better. I just turned 77 and I was able to keep up with you in this Intermediate Cardio Walking Workout. My balance was good when I started but it is now outstanding. I was able to do the one leg standing exercises without a problem. I keep recommending your site to my senior friends always adding that they should check with their doctor first. Thank you for being here. I only wish I knew about you during the pandemic, however, it is never too late to start. P.S. I am a cat person. My last cat passed 2 years ago but he would like to exercise with me.

I would love to see more intermediate workouts on your channel. I think having your mom do the workouts seated is perfect, and I love how she cheers you on. I'm not quite a senior yet, but I can't seem to do any other workouts than yours right now! I LOVE the interaction between you and your mom. I also love your soft spoken voice and gentle encouragement. I do need more challenging workouts, so I modify your others a lot. This intermediate workout was perfect though! Thank you for helping me each morning!

I am 67 years old. I started two months ago with your 10 minute walk, graduated to 15, then 20, then 30. Today I did your intermediate cardio walking workout. I got through it. It was hard, but so worth it.

I'm 65 and I did the whole standing workout with you, except to go low impact on the jumping jacks. It's a great workout and you and your mom are adorable.

This was definitely more challenging, but it was really good! It's good you continue to mention that these exercises can be scaled down, and your demonstrations helped on how to modify. I'm somewhere in between your mom and you, so I know I will improve with time/practice. Thank you, keep the videos coming!

This is exactly what I needed! I have been working out 45 minutes every single day since Jan 1st and using your videos to do so. I was looking at other videos to make it harder but I dont like how sloppy they are, I dont like their voice or the music is horrible. 🙊 Thank you. It was a great pick me up! Wow. That was some workout today. I'm 70 and did it all even though I feel knackered now 😅😅. It was a new one for me. I'm trying to do all different videos as I find them all really good. Glad to see you Aiko on the couch it proves we can all do it. See you tomorrow
