I’m so happy that you mentioned the rakers twice! We called them “come-alongs”. Very important we knew what was what!

please make more videos you teach me alot, i poured 315 yards last month with a 10 foot vibrastrike 2, 1 man and i had alot of humps but it didnt matter in a cattle lot and they wanted massive volume for the cheapest price, all 5 inches. so I raked and tamped it with my come-along then pulled it back 10 feet at a time while working with the driver. some sectioned humped and some did not.

Great video. I am finishing my old garage. The floor has some cracks in it and looks like it was never screened when it was poured. It's very rough and out of level. Your videos will help me a lot and I hope to be done with it over the summer.

I work for a concrete laying company and what this video is explains is all too familiar I enjoy seeing how smooth the concrete looks after the vibrating screed has gone over it

The whole purpose of screening is to get a flat surface. The rakers are important, but if you have high or low areas in the surface, it's due to poor screeding. That's what the screeder is for.

Do you like to run the screed at full RPM’s, or do they fluctuate as you have different concrete slumps? I’ve used the vibrascred many times, but only with screed pipes. But I would definitely like to learn the wet screed method.

Hello, does the power screed can also remove the bubbles inside the slab?

As a “raker” this shits dope. As long as you know how to efficiently take.

Mike I know this is an old video, but I've been watching a lot of your videos and have a question. If you're screeding a more narrow area, would you ever rest the ends of the screed on the forms if the screed board is longer than the area you're working. Would that still work ok?

What brand is your vibrascreed? I like the blade you are using, looks solid

Seems the concrete had too much water which would not allow it to be drug by the screed. It would also make the slab weak and prone to cracking. Would like to see a 4 or 5 slump worked with machine.
