Angelo's Mom Makes Homemade Feta Cheese Veggie Pizza

This is really simple, pretty healthy (for a pizza), and you can change it how you like. My mom simply got a whole wheat pizza crust and sauteed some green, yellow, and orange peppers, along with mushrooms (I recommend sauteing the tomatoes as well, just a little since they cook quickly).

Spread tomato sauce on the crust (make your own to make it even healthier and without extra salt), add crumbled up feta cheese, the peppers, mushrooms, chopped green onions, sliced tomatoes, spinach, basil, and extra virgin olive oil to make it healthier. Put some more feta cheese on top and cook it in the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Use a flat pan, not like the one we used with a raised lip, which makes using a pizza slicer difficult.

I think Ma' uses the same Extra Virgin olive Oil as I use, Paul Newman Organic its the best! For the price its good. I see Ma' is using the Garlic Powder, its the one with parsley and granules of garlic powder. Great Choice!! I make this one, its awesome :)

I too love to sautee the veggies first! I have learned a great trick for cutting pizza and it's the easiest ever: use scissors!
