Angelo's Mom Makes Pumpkin Borek (Angelo laughs like crazy)

Much to my surprise, this isn't really a dessert, and has phyllo dough, pumpkin puree, ONIONS, GARLIC, CHEESE, and PEPPER...strange ingredients. So I was so shocked at seeing onion was part of a pumpkin recipe that it felt like a joke, and I laughed uncontrollably for about ten minutes. And cried. My mom's sure Maddox would like this recipe.

My question is; how does the crust turn out using milk and egg rather then olive oil?
My comments are; the rest of the world uses pumpkin mostly as savory dishes.
The next slogan for your mom should be, "Stay in your corner!"

Sounds interesting. The ingredients I thought were strange were cinnamon and mint! The rest all seems to go together but those two seem out of place. Did you try it?
