Have you tried barbell wrist curls? This exercise is OP for defined forearms if you need to add size. Hand grippers are cool too, I use one while working to increase grip strength. However, apart from convenience, they are not as effective as wrist curls.

I personally prefer holding the gripper instead of crushing cuz it can help with finger pain

I have one that goes to 132 LBS 60kg I pushed it down on max on a scale and it was at lowest 7kg mid point 12kg and hardest 24kg however it’s still is worth buying since it becomes challenging when you do lots of reps
